Col Moar completed the highly esteemed Fighter Weapons Instructor Course in 2008 and was posted to 4 Wing as the Deputy Wing Operations Officer. Col Moar instructed on both NFTC Phase III and the Flying Instructor School.Ĭol Moar was posted to 4 Wing Cold Lake in 2003 and upon completing CF-188 training was posted to 441 Tactical Fighter Squadron (Tac F Sqn). He was subsequently posted to 409 Tac F Sqn upon its reactivation in 2006. In 2000, Col Moar was selected to fly the CT-155 Hawk as a member of the initial cadre of instructors for NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC). In 1997 he completed basic and advanced jet training at 15 Wing Moose Jaw where, upon receiving his wings, he remained to teach on the CT-114 Tutor. Colonel (Col) Moar joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1992 under the Regular Officer Training Program.
